I despise a public overuse of the pet name "baby"...

In e-mails, texts, private correspondence, in the comfort of your home, FINE.
On Facebook, in groups, amongst friends, on the cell phone at work, etc., it sounds unprofessional, immature and needy.
I hate it when people still refer to their significant other as “baby” while fighting with them.
